01Cookies and browser storage

Cookies and similar browser storage help the Platform maintain accounts and remember work in progress. Authentication uses a sign-in cookie that lasts up to 14 days, is renewed while you are active, and is set on the application host only. A second first-party cookie, an_in, has the value 1 and tells the public site's header that this browser has an Alphaneo session, so the header shows the account menu instead of "Sign in". It lasts up to 14 days like the sign-in cookie, is renewed with it, and is removed when you sign out. It is set for the whole alphaneo.ai domain in production, so the public site and the application share it, and on other hosts it is limited to that host; it is marked Secure wherever the sign-in cookie is, and it can be read by script on the public site. It holds no identity or token and grants nothing: the sign-in cookie is unchanged and never leaves the application host. The mandate experience stores your answers in your browser's session storage so you can return to them; those answers may include the contact information you enter. The answers are cleared when you close the tab or clear browser storage, and they are not sent to Alphaneo until you save your mandate.

02Page-view measurement

The Platform counts views of a company page in aggregate only, without a cookie or a persistent visitor ID: one number per company per day. It records no path or event time, and a short-lived, salted hash of a network address is held in server memory only, to limit duplicate activity. It does not record form contents or search queries in page-view events. See the Privacy Policy for details.

03Optional Google Analytics

When enabled, Google Analytics measures page views on the marketing website only: the page address without its query string, and the page title. It is not loaded on the application, sign-in, your account or the desk. We send no user ID, form answers, names, email addresses, mandate text, raw search queries, private page URLs, or confidential deal details. Google receives technical browser and network information when its service is used.

Google Analytics sets a first-party cookie, _ga, to distinguish browsers. Alphaneo does not shorten its lifetime, so Google's default applies. IP addresses are anonymized. We do not enable Google advertising signals or advertising personalization. For visitors in the EEA and the United Kingdom, Google Analytics does not load until it is accepted in the cookie notice; the "Cookie settings" link in the footer reopens that choice at any time, and the choice is kept in the first-party cookie an_consent for up to 180 days, with a session cookie, an_region, recording only whether the notice applies.

04Your controls

You can block or clear cookies and browser storage in your browser. Clearing storage may sign you out or remove an unfinished mandate. Alphaneo does not currently read Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. Cookie settings in the footer of every marketing page lets you accept, reject or change analytics at any time; for visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, analytics stays off until accepted. When optional Google Analytics is enabled, you can block it through your browser settings.

05Advertising and external services

We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site advertising pixels. Hosting, authentication, and database providers support Platform operation. If you leave the Platform for an external administrator or another service, its own cookie policy applies.

06Updates and contact
